Bob and Nancy Nicoll, co-founders of Life is For Giving Foundation, relocated to Anchorage, AK in August of 2004. When they met in 2002 in Denton, Texas, they discovered they both had a passion about giving back to their community. Both were leading busy lives yet felt they were missing something.

Bob has benefited from some powerful mentors in his life, and dreamed of creating a foundation that would focus on tapping into a person’s gifts and talents, while encouraging them to give back to their community.

Nancy is a cancer survivor and appreciative of so many friends that helped her through her illness. She wanted to find a way to harness this “giving back” energy and became inspired and focused on bringing the Foundation to life.

So, here in the Alaskan summer of 2005, the dream of the Life is For Giving Foundation has come true.
